A 12 line-up of 1:43 scale models American series, offered through mass retail outlets.
There are three models, each in the livery of Texaco, Hershey, Campbell, and McDonald's.

McDonald's dates back to 1940 with the opening of the first Restaurant in San Bernadino, California by Brothers DICK & MAC McDONALD. In 1948 they introduced a concept called the "SPEEDEE SERVICE SYSTEM" and the modern day "FAST FOOD" Restaurant was born. In 1955 RAY KROC heard of the brothers system and went to see what it was all about, this led him to offer the brothers an opportunity to open other Restaurants in the Mid-West by offering to buy franchising rights. He opened his first McDonalds Restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois on April 15, 1955 and the rest is the history of one of the most known corporate names worldwide!
In tribute to McDonalds Early Years Matchbox Collectibles presents this 1957 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Hard Top in McDonalds "GOLDEN ARCHES YELLOW" and WHITE color scheme. This car features the early McDonalds Golden Arches Logo with the angled #1 through the center on it's doors, the winking McDonalds Hamburger Man, dressed in Chef's Hat and carrying a sign that reads "CUSTOM BUILT HAMBURGERS" on the front fenders, "Custom Built Hamburgers" slogan written on sides just behind the doors! Silver fin treatment and silver body trim, authentic looking grill and bumpers, sits on wide whitewall tires with chrome hubcaps. Black and white "TUCK & ROLL" style interior!
